Our Community
Our community is led by Rabbi Elozer Gestetner, who together with his wife Miri are welcoming figures who set the tone for our Synagogue’s community. They as a couple are the longest serving congregation leaders in Australia .
Our Chazzan Neach Koncepolski leads the services and his inspiring chazzonis lifts the congregation to great heights.
The Synagogue is run by an elected Management Committee, the current President is Marlon Aronowitz. The committee is responsible for the day to day running of the Synagogue.
Under its auspices are a number of bodies.The Ladies Auxillary, The Shabbos Kitchen club (coogee youth) and the "yeladim" children services ably led by our youth co-ordinator Ruby Borer.
Service Times
Friday night 6pm (6.15pm during day light savings)
Saturday morning 9.10am
1st Sunday of each Month, 8am Shacharit followed by breakfast (not on in NSW school holidays)
Shabbat M'vorchim lunches every month on the Shabbat prior to Rosh Chodesh.
First sunday teffillin club-including the Bar/Bat mitzvah program on the first sunday of each month - a light breakfast is served.
